My horoscope said I would have a great day on Sunday and, indeed, I did. Not blogging much lately but wanted to jot down the facts for memory.
- Morning cleaning and long dog walk
- Brunch at Publican — that ricotta cake is something else
- Also the mimosa was so good! Mimosas are another better in theory than in practice thing for me, but this time it was really quite nice.
- Pedicures at Kaya - First time I have ever gotten a “deluxe” non-regular nail place pedicure and it was worth it! Such decadence.
- Football watching at a dive bar — that bears catch was such fun!
- Shopping at Whole Foods — they were giving out whole cookies as samples instead of just bites!
- Cooked dinner — beautiful bistro salade with haricot vert, pomegranate, pears, peppers, cucumbers, and fresh champagne vinegar and dijon dressing; homemade turkey parmesan meatballs with san marzano tomato basil sauce from scratch over rigatoni; homemade mini souffle with freshly whipped cream; pinot and malbec
- Before Sunset, a film which I had forgotten was so delightful
